The rules of the road.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ScaleForge AI (the “Service”), a free, private AI chat interface available at scaleforgeai.pages.dev. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1.Who we are

ScaleForge AI is an independent personal project designed and operated by Prabesh Khati Chhetri, an individual based in Nepal (“ScaleForge AI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It is not a company and is offered free of charge.

2.Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

3.The Service

ScaleForge AI provides an interface to chat with third-party AI models. There is no account: your chat history is stored locally in your browser. To generate replies, your messages are sent to third-party AI providers (see our Privacy Policy). The Service is provided free of charge, and we may modify, limit, or discontinue any feature at any time.

4.Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. You may not:

• Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, fraudulent, infringing, or abusive activity.
• Generate or distribute content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or that violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or programmatically extract data, or interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service.
• Circumvent or bypass rate limits, bot protection, or other security or safety measures.
• Use the Service to build a competing product, or resell or commercialise access to it.
• Misrepresent AI-generated output as human-created where doing so is deceptive or unlawful.

We may restrict or block access if we believe you are violating these Terms or harming the Service or others.

5.Your content

“Input” means what you send to the Service; “Output” means what the Service returns. You are responsible for your Input and for how you use the Output, and you confirm you have the rights necessary to submit your Input. As between you and us, you retain your rights in your Input and own the Output to the extent permitted by law. Because the Service uses AI, Output may not be unique — other users may receive similar or identical responses.

6.AI output & accuracy

ScaleForge AI generates responses by predicting likely text. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or offensive, and should not be relied upon as a sole source of truth. By using the Service, you understand and agree that:

• You should independently verify important information before relying on or sharing it.
• Output is not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, security, or otherwise).
• You must not use Output to make decisions with legal or material impact on a person (such as credit, employment, housing, insurance, or medical decisions).
• Output does not represent the views of ScaleForge AI or its creator.

7.Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (NaraRouter as the AI model gateway, Cloudflare, Upstash). Your use of the Service involves these providers processing certain data as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their output.

8.Availability & changes

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis with no guarantee of uptime, availability, or continued operation. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, without notice or liability, since it is a free personal project.

9.Intellectual property

The ScaleForge AI name, branding, design, and software are owned by its creator. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name or branding without permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

10.Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

11.Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCALEFORGEAI AND ITS CREATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE OR ANY OUTPUT. BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

12.Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScaleForge AI and its creator from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your Input or Output, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13.Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time — there is no account to close. We may suspend or block your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or are harming the Service or others.

14.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

15.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We will first try to resolve any dispute informally — please contact us before taking formal action. To the extent permitted by law, disputes will be subject to the courts of Nepal.
